Beautiful presentation binding bound in full tree calf with decorative gilt borders and small gilt coat of arms. Ornate gilt decoration, two title bands and five raised bands to the spine. There is a surface wear and discolouration to the rear board otherwise with minor wear to the raised bands. Overall though the binding is in superb condition with the gilt still bright. All edges of the text block and endpapers marble with presentation label to the front paste down dated 1911. Pages are very clean throughout with just the very occasional spot of foxing. pp. viii + 223. Overall a handsome edition to any library. Would make an ideal gift.
