Hard Back Abridged Edition. Original blue cloth boards with gilt decoration to the front and gilt titles to the spine. The cloth is in good condition despite some discolouration and wear to the top and base of the spine. Previous owners label and inscription to the front endpapers. There is a little cracking to the internal hinges although the binding is still fairly tight. Preface page is loose however. Pages are clean throughout with no marks or further inscriptions. pp. xiv + 756 + 4. Overall a good copy. James George Frazer most famous book on the study of mythology and religion.
