Bound in dark green leather with gilt detail to front and rear covers and spine, embossed detail to internal leather. Front cover reads "Hildersham House, St. Peter's". All edges of text block are decoratively marbled, with matching marbled endpapers. Dedication to first page dated 1895 to a "C. Magrath". Pages throughout are clean with minimal foxing, illustrations unmarred. pp. xvi + 282. Overall a very lovely copy.
