Rendered into English by Edward Fitzgerald. Hard Back. Bound in the publishers' original brown cloth with ornate pictorial to the front and gilt titles to the spine. In overall good condition with the binding still bright and clean and showing very little wear. There is a little lifting of the cloth along the top edge of the front board and spine although nothing serious. Slight fraying to the top of the spine and shelf wear to the base. Internally the binding is tight. Endpapers are a little toned with the very occasional spot of foxing however the pages are very clean throughout. Beautifully illustrated with tipped in colour plates including frontispiece and line drawings in blue. Unpaginated. A beautiful copy. Would make a great gift.
