Hard Back First Edition Thus. Beautifully bound in full blue cloth with gilt illustration and titles to the front and spine. In overall good condition with the gilt and the cloth to the front still clean and the corners still fairly sharp. The spine and rear board are slightly sunned although in good condition, the rear board to the extremities and the gilt to the spine lightly dulled. Slight foxing to the fore edge. Internally the binding is tight. Pictorial endpapers with postage stamp to the front free endpaper. Pages are clean throughout despite the occasional spot of foxing. Beautifully illustrated with 12 full page colour plates and several in black and white by the renown illustrator Arthur Rackham. pp xi + 147. Overall a lovely copy of this Christmas Classic.
