First Edition Thus Hard Back. Re-told by Laurence Housman. Original dust jacket with pictorial paper on-lay to the front in a good clean condition and showing very little wear. There is a little fading to the spine with minor off-setting to the rear. Not price clipped. Original rich brown cloth boards with gilt titles and small pictorial to the front. In very good condition with the cloth and gilt still bright and clean and again showing very little wear. Internally the binding is tight. There is some foxing throughout however the pages are generally clean. Beautifully illustrated with 20 full page colour plates by Edmund Dulac. pp. 319. Overall a beautiful copy.
