Charming Colour Books For Children. Hard Back, Fourth Edition. Original red cloth boards with pretty pictorial paper on-lay and black printed titles to the front. Black printed titles and design to the spine. In overall good condition with the cloth still fairly bright and clean, minor mark to the front. Front lower corner slightly creased. Pictorial endpapers. Previous owners' inscription dated 1919 to the half title page. Pages are very lightly toned with the very occasional mark otherwise very clean throughout. Beautifully illustrated with full page colour plates by Margaret W. Tarrant. pp. xvi + 332 + 12. Overall a very good clean copy of this much loved children's classic.
