A most charming set of Potter's tales featuring her iconic characters - even Peter Rabbit! This is overall a very good set, with any flaws being small inscriptions and discolouration - no serious or structural damage. Please see descriptions below.

Including The Tales of Peter Rabbit, Squirrel Nutkin, the Tailor of Gloucester, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, the Flopsy Bunnies, Mr. Jeremy Fisher (x2), Timmy Tiptoes, Johnny Town-Mouse (x2), Little Pig Robinson, the Pie and the Patty Pan, and Samuel Whiskers. 
As stated above, this set includes two copies of The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher, and two copies of The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse. Condition is as follows.
The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse (1): 1918. Bumps to extremities of spine. Spine tanned. Front board a little bowed. Ink inscription dated 1935 to ffep. Internally pristine. The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse (2): 1918. Browning to edges of front and rear boards; spine quite dark. Internally pristine; no markings or inscriptions. The Tale of Jeremy Fisher (1): 1906. Spine quite dark. Internally pristine; no markings or inscriptions. The Tale of Jeremy Fisher (2): 1906. Head of spine bashed. Ink inscription dated 1935 to ffep. The Tale of Timmy Tiptoes: 1911. Spine a little dark. Internally pristine. The Tale of Peter Rabbit: Spine darkened. Markings to rear board. Small ink inscription to copyright page dated 1912. Small blue ink smudge to ffep and p.9. Textblock cracked between p54-p.55 but pages still all attached and sound. The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin: 1903. Spine a little dark. Frontispiece a little discoloured; otherwise internally pristine. The Tailor of Gloucester: 1903. Spine ever so slightly darkened but boards in lovely condition. Frontispiece page starting. Otherwise pristine. The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle: 1905. Browning to edges of front and rear boards; spine quite dark with bottom of the spine beginning to come away from the textblock though still presentable and flat to block. Otherwise clean and bright within. The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies: 1909. Spine a little darkened - pages not tightly bound but all are present and sound. The Tale of Little Pig Robinson: Spine darkened with patching; textblock cracked between p.32/33 and p.80/81. Otherwise lovely and bright. The Tale of the Pie and the Patty Pan: Spine darkened. Subtle crease to centre of ffep. Spine cracked between p.12/13. Otherwise in lovely condition. The Tale of Samuel Whiskers: Exclusive endpapers featuring the titular character, with lavishly decorated title page. Slight discolouration to very inner edge between p.6/7/ Tiny inscription to copyright page dated 1910.
