Ref. 116724   Edition. First Edition Second Printing

Published By: Jonathan Cape 1965 (London)

A fantastic chance to get your hands on some highly collectible Bond rarities and a very early printing...

INCLUDES BOOK (signed), CLAMSHELL CASE, AND FRAMED IMAGE (signed).
A second printing of the first edition signed by Roger Moore to half-title page, who played Bond in the 1974 film adaptation. Bound in black cloth with gold gilt to spine, plain covers, and jacket art by Richard Chopping. Priced at 18s - not price clipped. Includes a purpose-built, handmade, black leather-spined clamshell case with gilt to spine, five raised bands, and soft felt interior for preservation. Together with an 8 x 10 inch black and white promotional still signed by Maud Adams, who starred opposite Moore. Still is conservation framed with UV plexiglass, with a double mount backed with pH-neutral corri-cor barrier board and moulded frame. The condition is excellent. The original dust jacket features no damage and is protected with a removable transparent film. Underneath, boards are equally unblemished. Internally pristine. The promotional still has been preserved excellently and framed recently to a high standard. Second printing can be identified by the white endpapers as opposed to green. Overall, these are three fine examples that form a stunning set for any serious Bond fanatic.
