An antiquarian book on astronomy in the early 19th century. Bookplate to the front paste down with the name of a previous owner 'Thomas Ansell', as well as his name being written on one of the early pages. Towards the end, there are three plates of astronomic diagrams, as well as tables and diagrams throughout. The book is bound in brown leather. It is in an overall good condition with tight binding. There's slight cracking to internal hinges and wear to the extremities of the cover as well as some foxing to the pages towards the front and back of the book, but in general, they are clean throughout with clear text. Overall, this is a beautiful and unique book. pp. 422.
