A collection of poetry and lyrics from the Elizabethan Era. Custom bound in brown leather with a beautiful gilt design on the covers and spine. The inside of the front and back covers also have an intricate gilt design, with 'Dreyfour' printed at the bottom. The silk endpapers have a wonderful golden pattern. There is a note to a previous owner on a separate piece of card inside the book. Illustrated in black and white with portraits of the significant poets. Overall, it is in good condition, with just some wear to the hinges and extremities, binding remains sturdy and tight. The pages are clean throughout with bright all edge gilt to the text block. A beautiful and completely unique book. pp. 105.
