Hard Back. Bound in the publisher's original brown cloth although the boards and spine are present they are worn and faded with some splitting of the cloth down the rear outer hinge. Internally the prelims including the title page are missing and the binding is weak. Pages are toned consistent with usage and age of the book with some foxing and pages are a little worn.  Overall a much loved copy.
