Beautifully bound by Hatchards of London in half-green leather with green cloth boards. Gilt tooling in between five raised bands and title band to the spine. The spine has faded with a little off-setting to the front and rear boards otherwise the binding is in very good condition with the cloth free of any marks or discolouration. Top edge of the text block is gilt and still bright. Light green marbled endpapers with a little toning to the extremities. Pages are free of any foxing or inscriptions and complete with a green ribbon bookmark. pp. xiii + 354. Overall a beautiful copy.
