Bound in full tan leather with with five raised bands and decorative gilt tooling to the spine. The leather is a little worn and faded with cracking to the outer hinges making the front board loose. Gilt to the spine faded with a cracked line down the centre. Bookplate to the front pastedown. Pages are toned, consistent with the age of the book, however clean throughout, with frontispiece illustration and vignette to the title page. pp. 15 + 360. Overall a fair copy of a scarce title. French text throughout.
