The illustrated dustjacket shows some wear with closed tears to the extremities, and a small piece missing to the top of the spine. However, the front cover is clean and bright and the dustjacket is not price clipped. Original turquoise cloth boards with printed black titles to the front and spine in good condition despite slight discolouration to the rear. Internally the binding is tight and the pages although very lightly toned are very clean throughout. With four full-page monochrome illustrations by Leslie Stead. pp. 160. Overall a good copy. A breathless adventure of Gimlet & Co played in the grim darkness of the Norfolk Broads.
