First Edition Hardback. Pictorial dustjacket in a good clean condition although worn with closed tears to the extremities. Not price clipped. Cloth boards with printed illustration and titles to the front in good condition despite a little fading to the spine. The spine has a slight lean. There is a blank label that has been pasted to the front free end-paper covering a previous owner's inscription or signature. There is the very occasional spot of foxing otherwise the pages are clean throughout with eight colour illustrations by Stead. pp. 191. Overall a good copy. The Fourth great adventure of Sergeant Bigglesworth.
