Original deep blue cloth boards are in very good condition despite a little fading along the top edge. Deep blue endpapers with previous owners' bookplate and neat inscription to the front free endpaper. Neat inscription to the half-title page. The pages otherwise are clean throughout and illustrated with many black and white photographic images and diagrams.
