This 1st edition of this scarce volume, with a different gilt decoration as seen on copies sold in the past, has only 18 copies listed in libraries (according to WorldCat) . this fascinating volume, with 36 black and white illustrations throughout, with the 1st chapter The Ravens of Ravendale. The author was well known for writing Poetry on esoteric subjects. Waite is most well-known for the Tarot deck, 1st published in 1910, the published work key to the Tarot. A very good copy, some slight movement in the binding, with gilt decoration to the front board and gilt decoration to the spine. Uncommon and hard to find.
