Handsomely re-backed in full rich brown leather with single ruled border and small emblem to the boards, red and green title bands, gilt ruled borders and blind embossed decoration to the spines. In very good condition despite a little scuffing to the boards, as expected due to the age of the books. The title page to volume one is age-toned however the rest of the pages including those of volume two are very clean throughout. Illustrated with engraved frontispiece to volume one, vignette to the title page of both volumes and folding maps to the rear. With all 24 maps present and intact. Overall a magnificent set.
