Twenty-first year of Publication. This early football annual has been bound into a hardback format, this example complete without covers, as was common. Bound in black cloth with bumping and a little loss to the corners. The spine has become partly detached with chipping and small pieces missing. Slight creasing to a few of the pages while pages, 75, 85,109 & 122 show a little pen or pencil notation. There is the occasional thumb mark most notably on the title page however the pages are generally clean and complete. pp. 182 + plus adverts. These fascinating early football annuals are similar to the Wisden Almanacks', full of adverts for sporting equipment. Overall a good copy. Scarce to find early volumes
