Crimson full leather boards with gilt floral tooling. Gilt lettering to spine divided into 6 panels by 5 bands. Marbled text-block, a little faded. Vibrant rose marbled endpapers. Pages bright  with large frontispiece and minor foxing. Ink inscription dated 1906 to one of the prelims and ink has smudged on previous page. Spine's original colour has faded but gilding still quite bright. pp.514. Overall good.
