All five volumes are uniformly bound in full polished calf. The front and rear boards are bordered by two ruled gilt lines. Gilt titles and four raised bands to the spine. Spines show minor rubbing and wear with shelf wear to the top and tail. Volume I, pp xi + 764. Volume II, pp xii + 669. Volume III, pp xi + 670. Volume IV, pp xii + 836. Volume V, pp viii + 398. Neat small pencil annotation to the verso of the front free end-paper and signature to the title page of each volume, light foxing in places but generally the contents are very clean. An attractive set.
