The Imperial Poets. Beautiful presentation binding with Wyggerton Schools Leicester coat of arms to the front. Bound in full red leather with decorative gilt border to the front and rear boards, gilt decorative tooling, and black title band to the spine. In good condition with the leather and the gilt still bright, with minimal surface wear to the rear. All edges of the text block are marble with marble endpapers. The endpapers show no previous owner's bookplates or inscriptions. Internally the binding is tight and the pages are clean, illustrated with several plates. pp. viii + 758. Overall a very good copy in a beautiful binding.
