Hardback. No Date possibly circa 1920's. The classic children's story with the charming illustrations of Harry Rountree. Handsomely rebound in half rich green leather with green marble paper covered boards. Deep burgundy leather title band to the spine. In good condition with no rubbing and wear to the boards, light fading to the spine especially to the gilt titles. The pages within are lightly toned with the occasional spot of foxing throughout. Beautifully illustrated by Harry Rountree with eight full page tipped in colour plates, including frontispiece and several line drawings within the text. Overall a beautiful book.
