Hardback. The dust jacket is clean and despite a little surface wear is in good condition. There are two previous owner's signature's, one crossed out, to the front free endpaper. Minor pencil notation to the rear and occasionally throughout. The pages are creased along the top edge, more so to the first few pages. The contents, however, are generally clean with the text still legible. pp. viii + 375. A clear and balanced book, Varieties of Realism will make valuable reading for students of the philosophy of science and is an imprtant contribution to scientific thought.
