First edition with the original pictorial dust jacket. The dust jacket is a little discoloured although in good condition, showing minimal wear. Not price clipped. The yellow cloth boards again show some discolouration with a pen mark to the rear. Binding tight. The pages are generally clean despite some foxing. Pen marks to pages 30 & 31. Two of the plates are lightly creased. Beautifully illustrated, colour frontispiece with a further two colour plates throughout, numerous black and white drawings within the text. A lovely copy of a scarce first edition. pp. 63.
