First Edition Thus. A handsome collection of seven volumes. Complete. All uniformly bound in half black leather with marble paper covered boards. All with ornate gilt decorated spines with two title bands and five raised bands. The leather is generally in good condition despite a little rubbing and wear to volume iv, and to the rear of volume vii. The rest of the volumes show a little surface wear to the boards and slight fading to the spines. Bumping to the fore-edge of volume iii. Internally the binding is tight with a book plate to the front paste down of each. There is slight foxing to the prelims of volume I and very occasionally to the rest of the volumes. However, the pages are generally very clean with a frontispiece portrait of Lord Byron to volume I. Overall a very good set.
