The dust jacket is bright and clean, although showing closed tears and wear to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with a piece missing to the base. Price clipped. Underneath lie turqouise cloth boards with light fading to the extremities and minor bumping to the corners. Light lean to the spine. Map illustration to the front endpaper. Previous owner's purple inscription to the half title page. The rest of the pages are very clean with no foxing, marks or any further inscriptions. Beatifully illustrated with several monchrome line drawings by Pauline Baynes. pp. 223. Overall a very good copy. Would make the perfect gift.
