Hardback. 1947 Third Impression. A good copy complete with a pictorial dust jacket. The dust jacket shows a little wear especially to the extremities, however it is clean and generally in good condition. Not price clipped. Underneath lie green cloth boards which present well despite some fading. The top edge is coloured green and is still bright while the fore-edge remains free of any marks. Endpapers are lightly toned with a booksellers ink stamp and previous neat inscritpion to the front endpapers. The rest of the pages are very clean. Illustrated with a full page colour frontispiece and several line drawings throughout. pp. 168. Overall a good copy. A fanatstic story of a mysterious scarecrow who, when the mood takes him, came to life.
