A lovely hardback edition of "Squirrel goes Skating" by Alison Uttley, illustrated by Margaret Tempest. This book has a charming pictoral board which depicts Squirrel alongside other friends ice-skating. Margaret Tempest's lovely work can similarly be seen throughout the book - from the beautiful blue ink illustrated forest scenes on the free endpapers to the full-colour images which perfectly compliment this lovely book. This book has 102 pages of text, and is in very good condition despite its age, with a few scuffs here and here, some brown offsetting on the free end papers, and some missing corners of pages. This book is looking for a new home, and would make a lovely gift for any collectors of the Little Grey Rabbit books.
