This hardback book is bound in cherry red leather, and is complete with all-edge gilt, and gilt decorations, lettering, and illustrations on the boards and the spine with raised bands. The opulence continues into the book, as one is met with red silk endpapers, a satin ribbon page marker, and a playful use of red and black ink for chapter titles and decorations. Each work is punctuated by Barron Storey's imaginative yet harrowing graphite illustrations. This book has 359 pages of text, and is in near perfect condition, apart from a few minor scratches to the front, it appears unread. This book is looking for a new home, and would be a lovely gift for any collectors of Franklin Library's Limited Editions, or any fans of Sinclair Lewis.
