This beautifully presented hardback two volume set of "The Davenport Story" includes both "The Life and Times of a Magical Family. 1881-1939" and "The Lost Legends: Robert Harbin, Edward Victor, G. W. Hunter". Both volumes are housed in pictoral dustjackets - the first depicts an imposing statue of Taltos, and the second, images of Robert Harbin and Edward Victor. Both dustjackets are in good condition, with some minor bumping. Underneath, both hardback volumes are bound in vibrant crimson cloth, with gilt lettering to the cover and spine. The interior of both books is in very good condition, and appears unread - however volume 1 is signed by members of the Davenport family. The first volume contains 440 pages of text, and the second contains 341, both including indexes. Both books are peppered with beautiful illustrations and photographs to help ground the reader into the Davenport's collection, or the hidden manuscripts of the greats. "The Davenport Story" is looking for a new home, and it would make for a lovely gift for any magical historians or budding conjurers in your household.
