This lovely paperback edition of "32 New Drawing-Room Deceptions" by Verrall Wass is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. This book contains secrets of the tricks, and was intended to be "protected from the eyes of the general public" and so was originally not sold in bookstalls or ordinary bookshops, but only in magical depots. This paperback book features a lovely illustration of a stern-looking magician to the cover. Inside, one finds 132 pages of text, peppered with helpful black ink illustrations. This book is in good condition, and apart from some foxing and wear to the covers, it has held up well. This book is looking for a new home, and would be a lovely gift to any budding magicians.
