St Mary's Books is proud to present this lovely circa 1901 edition of "The Magician's Handbook: A Complete Encyclopedia of the Magician's Art for Professional and Amateur Entertainers" by "Selbit". This hardback copy is bound in a lovely olive green cloth and features black ink lettering and illustrations to the cover and spine. Inside, one finds 198 pages of text, supplemented by a mixture of instructional and whimsical black ink illustrations. This book is in fair condition - the cover is worn, the spine is weak and is held together with tape, there is foxing throughout the book, and many inscriptions to the title page - however, much of the damage is more than fair given the age of the copy. This edition is looking for a new home, and would be a lovely gift to any budding magicians.
