St Mary's Books is proud to present this beautiful 1904 reprint of Sir Walter Scott's "The Lady of the Lake". This hardback book is bound in a stunning forest green cloth, which has beautiful purple flowers inked on to the cover and spine, and gilt to its top edge. The spine also features the title and poet's name in gilt lettering. Inside, the book is impeccably presented - the title page playfully mixes red and black ink, and is complimented by ornate black ink decorations, and the frontispiece is a full colour illustation of a forest scene. This book has 159 pages of text, including 55 beautiful full page illustrations and a map. This lovely book is in fair to good condition, as there is some sloping to its spine and significant foxing throughout. This edition is looking for a new home, and would be the perfect gift for any poetry lovers.
