One of an unconfirmed print run of less than 50 copies, with even fewer surviving. There were two issues of proof for The Prisoner of Azkaban. This version, with purple wrappers, was the first, and more scarce, of the two, with possibly as few as only 31 ever being in existance. Overall, this copy is in good condition. There is slight foxing to the textblock, but he pages throughout are clean and undamaged. The pages listing the 'Also available' titles and the 'dedication' page (which would have read '?dedication') are missing, but all the pages of the story itself are all present and intact. The covers are wrapped in laminate, with some slight wear to the extremities, but there are no tears and the binding remains sturdy. Comes with original movie props: a copy of the Quibbler and The Daily Prophet. Both items are in very good condition with no wear or tearing. Errington, AA4(a).
