Hardback. A beautifully bound copy of A.R. Moncrieff's Classic Myth and Legend. Bound in full green cloth with ornate pictorial to the front and spine. The boards show very little wear with the front clean and bright. The spine however, has frayed along the hinges and along the top and base. Top edge gilt. The pages are clean despite the occasional spot of foxing and illustrated with colour and monochrome plates from famous paintings and statuary. pp. xvi + 440. Overall a handsome copy.
