The binding presents well despite some toning especially to the spine. The top edge is gilt while the fore-edge remains untrimmed. There is a previous owner's large neat inscription to the half title page, dated Christmas 1914. The rest of the pages are clean and beautifully illustrated throughout by PA Staynes. pp. xiv + 236 + 4. Overall a good copy, and ideal gift idea.
