Hardback. A beautiful copy of R.D Blackmore's classic romance story, Lorna Dorne. Beautifully illustrated with sixteen original colour drawings by Christopher Clark. Bound in full green cloth with intricate gilt detail to the front and gilt titles to the spine. There is a little bumping to the corners with fading to the spine and rear board otherwise the binding is in good condition. The top edge is gilt while the fore-edge is untrimmed. The text block is a little loose with cracking to the front internal hinge. Previous owner's inscription to the half title page, dated 1913. There is scattered foxing throughout, although the pages are generally clean. pp. xii + 528. Overall a lovely copy.
