Hardback. Second edition each being the third impression, printed in 1968. A handsome set each volume complete with its unclipped dust jacket. The dust jackets are in good condition with just a little wear to the extremities. The Fellowship has some tape repair to the underside. There is some discolouration and wear to the red cloth boards. The top edge is coloured red although faded with a little colour leakage to the rear pages of The Fewllowship. The pages, to all three volumes, are very clean throughout with no inscriptions or foxing. The maps to the rear of each volume are present. The Fellowship of the Ring, pp. 423. The Two Towers, pp. 352. The Return of the King, pp. 440. Overall a good set of Tolkien's spellbinding story of Hobbits and dwarves.
