This lovely 1939 first edition of "Uncle Fred in the Springtime" by P. G. Wodehouse is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Bound in its original terracotta coloured cloth, this hardback book features black ink lettering to the cover and spine. Inside, one finds 319 pages of text. This book is in good condition - though there is some minor foxing throughout, some offsetting to the free endpaper, a small stain to the cover and some bumping and signs of wear - this is more than fair for a copy of this age and rarity. Overall, the copy remains clean and readable. This is a lovely collectors item which is looking for a new home, and would be the perfect gift for any P. G. Wodehouse enthusiasts.
