St Mary's Books is proud to present this beautifully preserved edition of "Vera's Christmas Guests" by Kate Thompson Sizer. This hardback book is bound in a rich blue cloth which features a black, green, and red ink illustration to the cover of a young girl reading and kneeling at a man's feet. This beautifully presented volume also features gilt lettering to the spine and cover. Inside, one finds 128 pages of text, complimented with a lovely black ink illustration on the frontispiece of Vera offering her doll to the cobbler. This wonderful book is in excellent condition, despite its age. Though it is undated, we estimate it to have been produced around or close to the original 1899 publication date. Despite some offsetting to the free endpapers, some very minor bumping, and very slight foxing - this copy is incredibly clean and appears unread. This remarkable little book is looking for a new home, and would be the perfect gift for any collectors.
