This lovely 1954 first edition of "The Bugatti Book" compiled by Barry Eaglesfield with the assistance of C. W. P. Hampton, is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. This hardback book is bound in a lovely blue cloth and features yellow ink lettering and decorations to its spine. Inside, one finds 375 pages of text (including indicies) and acts as a register for Bugatti cars, including "historical, miscellaneous and maintainance articles, together with photographs". Indeed, the text is peppered with numerous black and white photographs of the Bugatti cars, helping to situate the reader. This book is in fair to good condition, there is a stain to the cover, fading to the spine, and bumping to the corners, and an inscription to the free endpaper - but inside, this copy remains remarkably clean and readable given its age. This lovely book is looking for a new home, and would be the perfect gift for a Bugatti enthusiast.
