This lovely edition of "Ferrari and Maserati in action 1946-1956" by Hans Tanner, is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Beneath the bright red pictorial dustjacket which features black and white images of Ferrari and Maserati cars, this hardback book is bound in black cloth, and has silver gilt lettering to its spine. Inside, one finds "a brief glimpse into the enormous amount of racing activity undertaken by the two Modenese firms in all corners of the world", a glimpse which is primarily given through the numerous black and white photographs of the cars which feature throughout the book. This book is in good condition, though there is some bumping and tearing to the dustjacket, and though there is some offsetting to the free endpapers, this is overall a very clean and readable copy, remarkable for its age. This lovely edition is looking for a new home, and would be the perfect gift for any motor racing enthusiast.
