Hardback. A First Edition copy of Captain W.E. Johns classic children's series. This story finds Biggles and his 666 squadron establish a secret airfield in the Bornean jungle. The pictorial dust jacket shows a little wear and creasing to the extremities with light fading to the spine. The rear cover shows light pen marks. Slight lean to the spine. Underneath lie bright and clean green cloth boards with printed pictorial to the front and titles to the spine. Neat inscription to the front paste down. The rest of the pages are clean and bright. Illustrated with a full colour frontispiece and several line drawings throughout by Stuart Tresilian. pp. 185. Overall a good copy.
