This lovely 1959 third impression of "Biggles and the Pirate Treasure" by Captain W. E. Johns is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Beneath the vibrant dustjacket featuring the team confronting the pirates, this hardback book is bound in blue cloth with red ink lettering to its spine. Inside, one finds a full-colour frontispiece of the inspectors watching the pirates, this is followed by 184 pages of text supplemented by other full-colour full-page illustrations. This book is in very good condition, despite some slight creasing to the dustjacket and some slight foxing, the copy is remarkably clean and readable for its age. This book is looking for a new home and would be a perfect gift for any Biggles enthusiasts.
