This lovely 1963 first edition of "Biggles Takes a Hand" by Captain W. E. Johns is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Beneath the vibrant dustjacket featuring illustrations of the main characters, this hardback book is bound in crimson cloth and has black ink lettering to its spine. Inside, one finds 160 pages of text, peppered with black ink illustrations by Leslie Stead. This book is in good to very good condition, though the dustjacket is slightly creased, it is remarkably well preserved, as is the book itself which has few notable imperfections. This book is looking for a new home and would be the perfect gift for any Biggles enthusiasts.
