This lovely 1949 first edition of "The Story of E. R. A." by John Lloyd is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Beneath the lime green and white dustjacket which features a black and white photograph of a racing car, this hardback book is bound in a lovely teal cloth with gold gilt lettering to its cover and spine. Inside, one finds 46 pages of text including an appendicies and a selection of black and white photographs in the middle of the book. This book is in very good condition, though the dustjacket is slightly bumped and stained and thus can only be described as good, the book itself is remarkably clean and readable given its age and rarity. This book is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any E. R. A. enthusiast.
