Edition: First
Published By: Cassell and Company Ltd.
This lovely 1959 first edition of "Le Mans '59" by Stirling Moss has a striking black dustjacket featuring a full-colour photograph of the race. Underneath, this hardback book is bound in black cloth with white ink lettering to its spine. Inside, one finds 116 pages of text, peppered with black and white photographs, telling Striling Moss' personal account of the race, detailing the preparations of the Aston Martin team, the race itself, and the views of Moss and his teammates. This book is in fair to good condition - the dustjacket is torn and damaged, and the free endpapers are badly foxed - however, the rest of the book remains clean and readable. This book is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any motoring enthusiast.
