A handsome five volume bound set of La Guerre Aerienne fully illustrated throughout. Bound in blue cloth with paper pictorial onlay and gilt titles to the front. Gilt ttiles and decoration to the spines. The binding is in very good condition despite a little fading and surface wear. Internally the pages are toned although very clean throughout. The text is in french and triple columned. Decorative endpapers with the text block's still fairly tight. A fascinating glimpse into the lives of the French air force during World War One. Originally published as a weekly magazine shortly after World War One, providing a factual chronicle and celebration of French military aviation and its aces. This set is heavy and may require extra shipping.
